This is my school project and is all about civil war in Sudan. This site concerns what should be done to help Sudan, as well as what people can do right now to help Sudan. Clicking "Main Project B Ideas" will bring you to the entries about Sudan. The photo gallery consists of pictures related to Main Project B Ideas. Clicking "Links" will bring you to a few websites that support Sudan. The "Videos" tab will bring you to videos about Sudan, including a music video by Emmanuel Jal.
I will give a brief overview of who the Lost Boys of Sudan are and what happened so that the Main Project B Ideas make sense. Sudan is a country in Northern Africa. The Lost Boys of Sudan (above) walked hundreds of miles to escape from the civil war in Sudan. Most were orphans, because their parents had been killed in the war or taken as slaves by Northern Sudan. The war was between North Sudan and South Sudan. The Southern Sudanese boys who walked for so long are called the Lost Boys of Sudan. Some come to America, but some are still in a refugee camp. It is very sad that they have lost so much, including their homes, family, friends, food, resources, and cultural identity. Main Project B is all about helping them and Sudan, in hopes that South Sudan will separate from North Sudan and end the genocide.
